S hipping costs & other information Stallions based abroad at partner studs in Lövsta Stuteri/ Sweden, Katrinelund/ Denmark and at Gestüt de Watermolen/ Netherlands Fresh semen can be ordered fromBenetton Dream, Bon Coeur and Van Vivaldi from Monday to Thursday (by 9:30 am at the latest), and for Duke and Hesselhoj Donkey Boy from Monday to Friday (by 9:30 am at the latest). Delivery will be effected on the next day. There are no deliveries on weekends and public holidays, but frozen semen is available as an alternative. Fresh semen from Daily Diamond can be ordered every day by 8:30 am at the latest for same-day delivery by Hippoexpress in north-western Germany. In other regions of Germany there are no deliveries on Sundays and public holidays. Mare owners pay shipping and health certificate costs. Please enquire about them when you place your order. Fees for mare boarding at the Böckmann insemination station Mare owners bear all boarding costs and risks. The day rate is € 15 per mare. As of the day on which it is confirmed that the mare is in foal, the day rate increases to € 20 per mare. Dr Ute Pansegrau (Lüsche Veterinary Clinic) is available to provide veterinary services. Veterinary costs are payable by the mares’owners. A uterine culture test is requiredfor mares that are not in foal. Mare owners consent to a vet and farrier attending the mare at their expense if the stallion owner considers it necessary. Setting a good example We want to help protect the environment. Please therefore keep the shipping containers including cold packs as clean as possible and return them to us. We then clean and disinfect them for reuse. This process reduces the number of polystyrene containers that need to be manufactured and purchased by us. At the end of the breeding season we donate the money we have saved as a result to an environmental organisation. 23
