21 S HIPPING COSTS & OTHER INFORMATION Stallions based at our partner studs in Lövsta Stuteri/Sweden and Katrinelund/ Denmark Fresh semen from Benefit, Benetton Dream and Bon Coeur can be ordered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for next day delivery. One portion of Bon Coeur semen per cycle will be shipped. Fresh semen from Duke and Hesselhoj Donkey Boy can be ordered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for next day delivery. Orders with all the necessary information must be received by 9 a.m. at the latest. There are no deliveries on weekends and public holidays, but frozen semen is available as an alternative. Mare owners pay shipping and health certificate costs. Please enquire about them when you place your order. Semen from all the other stallions at our partner studs can be ordered via us. We have introduced a rest day for our stallions. From now on the stallions will not be having semen taken on Sundays! Fees for mare boarding at the Böckmann insemination station Mares will be stabled in Mühlen at the risk and expense of the owner. The day rate is € 15 per mare. As of the date on which it is confirmed that the mare is in foal, the day rate increases to € 20 per mare. Dr Ute Pansegrau (Lüsche Veterinary Clinic) is available to provide veterinary services. Veterinary costs are paid by the mares’ owners. A uterine culture test is required for mares that are not in foal. Mare owners consent to a vet and farrier attending if the stallion owner considers it necessary. Böckmann Pferde GmbH also offers all-inclusive mare packages including year-round boarding in small herds in loose barns or fields, insemination, foaling, foal shows and foal rearing.
