The first part of the Lastruper Spring Days was a real success for Stall Böckmann. The show began on Monday with the 5 year olds. Gilbert Böckmann and the gelding Lord Petz (Lord Pezi – Last Liberty) finished in third place, in the first class, with a note of 8,2.

In the second class, both Gilbert and his rider Sebastian Elias were able to hang a rosette on their horses. Gilbert rode the stallion Christian (Cartani – Lord Liberty) and received  8,0,  fourth place, while Sebastian rode the stallion Bon Balou (Balou de Rouet – Argentinus) and was just behind with a score of  7,9.

On Tuesday it was time for the pupils to go to the start. Rebecca Milton from Sweden was placed in both classes, in L she was placed with the gelding Valiant Acido HBC and in M with the mare Hera. Francesca Pellegrinelli from Italy has been at Böckmann’s for the past three month and managed to ride a fantastic clear with her Libanon, as well as Sabrina Schütz with Lunamar. Both of them ended up in money.

The 7 and 8 year olds competed on Wednesday. The classes started early afternoon with a M** and both Carrara (Come on – Landadel) and Grando (Grandeur – Quebec) did great clear rounds with Gilbert Böckmann and Sebastian Elias in their saddles, ending up in eight and tenth place.

In S**, Gilbert Böckmann rode Czardas (Contendro – Grannus) and rode clear in the first round but in the second round they had to watch the last pole fall to the ground. But thanks to their fast time they came fourth. Also in this class, Sebastian Elias together with Grando picked up a rosette.

Thursday, the day of the 6 year olds, ended with the qualification for the Bundeschampionat (the German championship for young horses taking place in Warendorf at the beginning of September). To qualify, the horses have to score a 8,0 or higher, and the Böckmann horses Gabbiano (Grandeur – Last Liberty) with Sebastian Elias in saddle and Daily Sun (Contendro – Drosselklang II) with Gilbert Böckmann did just that. Gabbiano landed a second place with the score 8,6 and Daily Sun a fourth place with 8,4.

Now we hope that the fantastic start will stay intact for the second part of the show, that goes on from Saturday – Monday.
